TRAVEL DESCRIPTION

Embark on an unforgettable one-day journey through the cultural heart of Ulaanbaatar and the stunning natural beauty of Terelj National Park, culminating with a visit to the iconic Genghis Khan Statue Complex at Tsonjin Boldog. Our tailored tour combines comfort, professional guidance,56 and immersive experiences to showcase Mongolia’s rich heritage and breathtaking landscapes.

Departure from Ulaanbaatar

We will pick you up from your accommodation at 08:30 o’clock and drive to Genghis Equestrian Statue (55 km – 1 hour on paved road).

Genghis Khan Statue Complex

The 40 m high Genghis Khan’s Horse Statue is believed to be highest equestrian statue in the World. There’s an elevator to observation desk on the top of the horse head & we will go there for taking pictures.

Gorkhi-Terelj National Park

Then we will drive to Gorkhi-Terelj National Park (40 km – 1 hour on paved road). Situated 70 km northeast of Ulaanbaatar, Gorkhi-Terelj National Park is famous for its unique granite rock formations and pristine alpine scenery, and is a popular destination for tourists based in the capital and for Mongolians on weekend trips.

Turtle Rock

First we will see the gigantic Turtle Rock. Then we will have Mongolian traditional lunch near Turtle rock with beautiful view area. Then we will have some horse or camel ride (1 hour). This ride will take you back through the Turtle Rock area to the beautiful sites and sounds of mother nature for a several mile journey up the mountain to view. With no experience required.

Ariyabal Temple

7Then we will make short hike to picturesque lovely meditation Ariyabal Temple which is surrounded by scenic and rocky mountains and sits at middle of the them. It is not old temple. To get to the top, you would cross the suspension bridge and climb up on 108 stairs, according to Buddhist prayer beads. In the afternoon, you will have time to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.

Shopping

It is officially part of our day tour program to visit the Mongolian cashmere collective store that brings together over 30 curated Mongolian brands and more national product and souviner.

Ended

Drop-off at your hotel or a central location in Ulaanbaatar. Bid farewell to your guide and driver, with memories of an incredible day in Mongolia.
